
Morgan Paige is a session singer and performer based in NY, NY. She was one of the top 70 contestants on Americal Idol Season 8. Morgan has worked for various composers, including AIM Music, Ramblin Man, and David Wolfert, and on commercial tracks for brands such as Mercedes, Gillette, Toyota, and New York Energy Star. She provides the main speaking and singing voice for Thinkativity toys.
Morgan’s love of music began at age 5, when she started studying violin. She began singing shortly thereafter, qualifying for several Pennsylvania state choral competitions. In college, Morgan joined Off the Beat, an award-winning alternative rock a cappella group at the University of Pennsylvania. Morgan was named Best Collegiate Soloist by the Contemporary A Cappella Society of America in 2003, and was Runner-Up in 2002 and 2005. She co-produced 4 albums, each of which was awarded Best Collegiate Coed Album of the Year or Runner-Up. In 2005, Varsity Vocals selected her rendition of Evanescence’s “Going Under” for the Best of Collegiate A Cappella compilation album.
Morgan performs as a back-up vocalist for singer/songwriter Mighty Kate and provided backing tracks for several songs on her new self-titled release. She also performed background vocals for “Going Gone,” a track on the new album Curriculum by singer/songwriter Abby Ahmad, whose song Tri-Me was featured in the motion picture The Guardian. Morgan is the lead vocalist of The Nightly Orchestra, a NYC-based wedding band.
